There are a variety of educational opportunities with the Interior Design Society.

The Interior Design Society has teamed with CQRID – Certificate of Qualifications for Residential Interior Design to bring you this nationally recognized accreditation test.  There is currently a group of individuals studying for an April/July 2009 testing date.  Please contact Alleyn Yasskin for information on joining the study group.

Our monthly meetings provide ongoing information that is relevant to your interior design business.  In past meetings, this education has taken the form of discussions on business branding, marketing, operations and design trends. Upcoming educational opportunities in our monthly luncheons include:

• How to guide to getting published in magazines and newspapers
• Working with your vendors and partners to help grow your business

In addition to our chapter opportunities, there are events in the local design community at large that may benefit your business.  For example, ASID has an upcoming event that is offering CEU credits.  NWSID also has CEU credits available at their upcoming conference.   Please see our calendar of events for more information.
